Making a Difference Through Bubble Tea

At Boba Formosa, we believe business should go beyond supplying premium bubble tea ingredients – it should also make a positive impact in the community. This summer, we proudly supported the Humberside Police Lifestyle Project, a programme designed to encourage children to make improvements to their local communities while developing valuable life skills.

As part of the initiative, a team of students from Eastrington Primary School set up a bubble tea stall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and community planting projects. With our sponsorship, the children were able to serve fun and refreshing bubble tea drinks to local residents, combining creativity with social responsibility.

About the Humberside Police Lifestyle Project

The Lifestyle Project is a long-standinscheme run by Humberside Police to inspire children and young people to get involved in their communities. Teams of children aged 10–16 take on summer challenges ranging from litter-picking and creating village planters, to organising fundraising stalls.

This year’s project took place across August 2025. The Eastrington team set themselves the goal of selling 200 cups of bubble tea across the event days – an ambitious but achievable target with the right support.

As the Product Sponsor, Boba Formosa supplied the premium bubble tea ingredients – from fruity syrups to popping balls – that made the children’s drinks both delicious and eye-catching. The team was able to create an engaging stall that attracted families, sports fans, and visitors throughout the day.
