Boba Formosa x Community Engagement: Celebrating Lunar New Year with Play Mandarin

On January 25th and 26th, Play Mandarin School hosted a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration across its two campuses in London, bringing together over 200 students and parents for a festive experience steeped in the traditions of Taiwanese culture. Boba Formosa was proud to sponsor the event, adding a sweet touch to the festivities with our popular bubble tea stall.

Bubble Tea and Taiwanese Cuisine: A Taste of Home

The Snake Year New Year Party was a resounding success, featuring interactive games, cultural performances, and delicious Taiwanese food. The food stalls were a massive hit, offering an array of Taiwanese delicacies. Especially the signature bubble tea sponsored by Boba Formosa. Many attendees shared how the authentic flavours evoked a sense of nostalgia and pride, saying, “These dishes remind us of home and allow our children to connect with their roots through taste.” The event truly showcases the island’s rich food culture.
